Looking to help at the Parent Link Center?
We appreciate every effort- whether cutting our crafts, providing
childcare, or reading stories. Volunteering is a great way to meet new
people, learn new skills and give back to the Parent Link Center.
Children are always proud to see their parents work with us.
Thinking about Volunteering with the Parent Link Center?
The following are some ways you can participate with at the Parent Link
Center.:
(Volunteers are welcome to bring their own children)
- Make Play dough... and learn to make this fun item.
- Clean Toys…help us keep toys clean.
- Craft Helper…help prepare crafts, make suggestions for themes
and ideas for crafts.
- Program Assistance….help children make crafts, suggest your own
ideas, read books and stories to children in a group or individual
setting.
- Gym Assistance…help set up, and take down gym equipment, play
with children, help parents as required.
- Childcare…help look after children while their parents attend a
class at the Parent Link Center.
- ESL Facilitator…help new Canadians or those new to Canada or
English language practice their English. Make a friend or two.
- Office Assistance…help with filing or data entry. Photocopying
and assembling newsletters and calendars are areas where we always
require assistance.
